MN Pollution Control Agency -
State Fair Promotional Piece
The MN Pollution Control Agency inquired about producing a promotional piece for the MN State Fair. In years’ past, they distributed pens, pencils and other miscellaneous items, but this time they wanted something unusual and attention-getting. Through some networking they were introduced to Imagine! for possible ideas.
Since adhesive labels were not allowed at the fairgrounds due to cleanup and removal, other options were explored. An alternative plan was suggested by using a clear static cling with laminate and provided in a sheetfed format for easy distribution during the fair. The MPCA provided art created by children of MPCA employees, which was transposed on the static cling. Imagine! suggested possible printing on the liner of the piece to provide more information about air pollution and how to learn more about the MPCA by listing its website.
After its printing and being received by the agency, they felt it would be such a popular item not only at the Fair, but in schools across the state, that they put in for a reorder immediately. The piece also received television exposure by a reporter stopping by the MPCA booth and pointing out that these pieces were being handed out.
Our client, the MPCA, was very happy with the very creative solution provided by Imagine! Print Solutions.
